I had an areolar incision on both breasts, implants of about 200 cc's, and they were placed behind the muscle. It just felt like a large pressure pressing on my chest for about a week or so, and I really only experienced pain for a few days. It was entirely manageable with pain medication. I was back to work within a week without a problem. It's pretty strange to get used to them at first! Hope this helps!
