Are Some Days Worse Than Others Following Breast Augmentation With Regards To Pain?
My g/f recently had breast augmentation (Thursday) the 21st and then had to have emergency surgery Friday the 22nd to drain a hematoma that she had as a result of her initial surgery. She had sub-muscular implant surgery. Today, her 4th day after the second surgery, her pain has been a bit more intense than the previous days. . . . . . It is still tolerable though. Are some days worse than others or should her pain get better every day?

I had breast implants put in last July. I can tell you that I was in a lot of pain for the first week and it does seem like the first three to four days are the worst. My advice to her would be to get plenty of rest and try not to become active to soon. Her pain will begin to get better as the days go on…I promise. Tell her to hang in there and she will eventually love what she has done, even though it doesnt seem that way now. Also, look for signs of depression that could be coming soon. My doc told me it was normal and that most women begin feeling down about a week or so after. I hope this helps =) She is lucky to have such a supportive boyfriend!
sometimes if she over does her activity the pain will get worse…she needs to move but keep it at a min.
